    What’s New to See and Do


    Sweet Event!
    Celebrate the arrival of spring with the sweet taste of maple candy on the snow at Kings Landing Historical Settlement on March 20, 21, 27 and 28. A breakfast will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in support of the York Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue. Wagon rides will be offered throughout the day.


    Spend Easter Weekend in Saint-Quentin
    Discover the Maple Capital of Atlantic Canada Festival being held from March 30 to April 4 in Saint-Quentin. Maple products are the highlight of this event, but you will also find sculptures and culinary arts, meals, guided tours, contests, a theatre production, and a maple products exhibition and sale. Don’t miss this sweet treat!

    A Must Visit for Chocolate Lovers
    New Brunswick’s Ganong Bros. Limited was recently featured in an article entitled “Lover’s Treat: Heart-Shaped Chocolate Box”, on ABCNews.com. The association Chocolate Museum was also listed as one of the top ten chocolate museums in the world by Ottawa Citizen.


    New Brunswick Accommodation Part of TripAdvisor’s Top Ten
    TripAdvisor, a website where millions of travelers post their reviews and opinions, has released its Travelers’ Choice 2010, which includes top 10 lists of the world’s favorite hotels by regions and categories. The Fundy Highlands Inn & Chalets, located in Fundy National Park of Canada, has been selected as one of the top 10 bargain hotels in Canada.

    A Saint John spa has won a coveted spot in the 2010 Annual Spa Guide from glow, Canada’s Beauty and Health Experts. Inn on the Cove & Spa combines an impressive view of the Bay of Fundy, inviting hosts, and well-packaged spa services to create a unique experience that you won’t get elsewhere in Canada.


    Top 10 “Living History Sites to Love”
    The Village Historique Acadien is the only Canadian site amongst a list of 10 “Living History Sites to Love” chosen by Grandparents.com. Receiving more than 300,000 visits per month, the website suggests activities grandparents can do with their grandchildren. The Village is seen as a destination for all ages, as much fun for children as it is for parents and grandparents.


    Kiteboarding in New Brunswick featured on ABC News
    Club Wind & Kite, near Shippagan in New Brunswick’s Acadian Peninsula, was recently  selected by ABC News as one of the 30 places to visit in 2010. This destination is already  recognized as the best place to learn and practice kiteboarding in Canada.

    Come Celebrate in Saint John
    The city of Saint John, designated a Culture Capital of Canada for 2010, has planned a series of events to help celebrate and highlight the city’s art, culture and history in honour of its 225th birthday. The major events will be held from May to September, but look for other family activities available throughout the year.
