BE AMAZED ( It's a very natural reaction to our Natural Wonders)

Yes, Chaleur Bay's spectacular seascape is in elite company as one of the "Most Beautiful Bays in the World". And, yes, the Irving Eco-Centre, La Dune de Bouctouche won international awards for preserving one of the planet's rare white sand dunes. But don't stand around "ohhing" and "ahhing", get busy and enjoy our Natural Wonders! Hike along our accessible dunes and discovery beaches to find natural treasures left by the tides. Callanders Beach and Cape Jourimain are perfect for beachcombing. Then make a splash in Chaleur Bay's inviting salt waters. Nature and wonders go hand in hand here.

    Chaleur Bay

In 1534, Jacques Cartier named this bay (which translates to "Bay of Warmth") for its balmy temperatures. You'll soon see for yourself why it was designated "One of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World". (Its pristine beauty, First Nations heritage and flora and fauna all helped it make the list.)

    Dunes & Discovery Beaches

Think of our undulating dunes as coastal art, sculpted by Mother Nature. We go to great lengths to preserve these delicate ecosystems, some, like Irving Eco-Centre, La Dune de Bouctouche, are estimated to be 2,000 years old. Stick to the winding wooden boardwalks and enjoy!
