Beaches are made to BRING OUT THE KID IN YOU

Slip on the flip-flops and slap on some sunscreen! Some lazy hazy days of summer are just made for beaches and we have some we know you'll love. From the family-oriented fun of Inch Arran Beach, on gorgeous Chaleur Bay, with lots of sand for building castles and playing Frisbee, to the serenity of a freshwater swimming beach called Tide Head Beach at the mouth of the Restigouche River in the middle of a birder's paradise. Try them both!

    Freshwater Beaches

The village of Tide Head is at the end of the Restigouche estuary and it welcomes visitors to enjoy its freshwater beach. This scenic area has been designated an 'important bird area' by Nature Canada.
