    Parks

How do you like your parks? (SMALL, MEDIUM OR LARGE?)

The massive Mount Carleton Provincial Park is overflowing with primitive, pristine wildlands waiting to be explored. (By you, we hope!) With the highest peak in the Maritimes, it offers rare thrills and chills for experienced hikers and climbers, and easy trails along forest roadways for regular folk. Stay awhile to canoe its three lakes and two rivers. Sugarloaf Provincial Park is our medium-sized park, with the advantage of being a stone's throw from the city of Campbellton and very accessible in winter and summer. It rewards hikers and skiers with great views over the city. A scenic campground, over 25 km (16 mi.) of trails, and lots of activities from paddleboating to a mountain-bike park, will keep you here for a while. If you're looking for a small but pretty picnic spot, Morrissey Rock Park and Scenic Lookout is just the ticket.

    Municipal

Morrissey Rock Park and Scenic Lookout offers travellers a small picnic site, ideal for enjoying the view overlooking the tranquil Restigouche River and its islands.
