For those looking for a good place to swim, Katy’s Cove is the preferred saltwater destination in St. Andrews. The beach lies well within the town limits just behind the famous Fairmont Algonquin Resort. Explore the Bay of Fundy's diverse inter-tidal zone at Indian Point Beach, an ever-changing landscape that nourishes a rich diversity of marine creatures and sea life. You'll discover fine sand and finer swimming at Mispec Beach, alongside a rocky coastline that provides many areas for climbing and exploring the hiking trails. For freshwater swimming, head to St. George's Canal Beach, Saint John's Dominion Park and Lakewood Reservoir, Moncton's Kiwanis Centennial Beach or Sackville's Lillas Fawcett Park/Silver Lake.
