SAY HELLO to a few of our other residents (on the OCEAN FLOOR)

Admire “tree-tufted” flowerpot rocks from an almost bird's-eye view as they scurry along the shoreline. Wander down with them and discover the marine wonderland that the recent tide brought in. An exhilarating travel itinerary awaits you on the Fundy Coastal Drive.

Reader's Digest (June 2006) had these choice words to say about our view from the coast: ''Look northwest towards Cape Enrage and its historic lighthouse - it's truly breathtaking, especially at sunrise. Stroll Cape Enrage's seven-kilometre-long fossil beach to take in the view from sea level, and you just might glimpse a porpoise or two."

Meanwhile, exploring our discovery beaches is as easy as pulling over to the side of the road. The Fundy Trail is linked to some of these non-swimming wonderlands where every tide washes in something new to discover. Or leave the car on the mainland and head for the Fundy Isles where James Audubon found birdwatching paradise.

The Bay of Fundy - truly One of the Marine Wonders of the World.

    Dunes & Discovery Beaches

Wind and water forever shape our sand dunes while our discovery beaches are renewed with each new tide, bringing new marine wonders ashore. Take guided walks on Cannontown and Herring Cove beaches. Be entranced by Cape Enrage Beach or go further to the beaches of Grand Manan Island and beyond.

    Bay of Fundy

Descend to the ocean floor and walk amongst the famous flowerpot rocks. Find higher ground and watch 100-billion tonnes of seawater roll in. Try kayaking upon the World's Highest Tides or climb aboard a boat that will take you through a playground of whales.
