Whether you’re up for a lovely stroll in one of our municipal parks or award-winning gardens, or in search of a heart-pounding wilderness adventure, you’re sure to experience wonder-full moments in our picturesque parks. Highlights include looking for natural treasures on our discovery beaches, the breathtaking view from the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, canoeing on beautiful Bennett Lake at Fundy National Park of Canada and sun-baked moments on internationally popular Parlee Beach Provincial Park.

Municipal Parks

Take a guided pontoon-boat tour of phenomenal Grand Falls Gorge, the largest waterfall in New Brunswick. Wander the tranquil boardwalks of Irving Nature Park, a “Best of Fundy” attraction which boasts an 11 km (7 mi.) walking trail system, or watch harbour seals diving for food at the Seal Observation Deck. Our municipal parks are full of surprises.

Provincial Parks

With 9 provincial parks, there’s always more to see and do here. Sugarloaf Provincial Park boasts Atlantic Canada’s first lift-accessed Mountain Bike Park, as well as unparalleled vistas. Mactaquac Provincial Park is home not only to beautiful walking trails, but also to an 18-hole championship golf course.
