Monday, August 4 is New Brunswick Day, an opportunity to celebrate New Brunswick’s achievements, history and culture as New Brunswickers enjoy a long weekend during the best days of summer!
The Rural Community of Cocagne, along the Acadian Coast, will be the site of this year’s official celebrations. Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. at the Cocagne arena, located at 19 Marina Rd. An official ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. The opening will be followed by music, food, activities and kiosks.
New Brunswick Day is celebrated since 1976. An official host community has been chosen for New Brunswick Day celebrations since 1990.
