A TALE OF TWO CITIES... as different as night and day
In one city, you're sure to find one of our famous kitchen parties with toe-tapping fiddle music and laughter that carries on into the wee hours. In the other, you'll be treated to a Salvador Dali painting, the Changing of the Guard, and a park larger than Sherwood Forest with a lodge opened by the late Queen Mother. At one end, you could rub shoulders with descendants of stalwart loggers and fishermen telling wild ghost tales of headless nuns and the Dungarvon Whooper. In the other, you'll bump into people whose ancestors were United Empire Loyalists and military personnel. Best of all, you'll have a wonderful welcome and a great time in both Miramichi and Fredericton for they do have something in common, being riverside on the mighty rivers that run through them and the amazing route that joins them.
