The Bathurst Hospitality Days begin with a Hospitality Idol competition. Over the remainder of the festival, many of the events are held in the festival tent, set up in downtown Bathurst where various evening entertainment is held, including an entertainment night, a rock & roll night, an Acadian party and a major closing concert.
The festival features a golf tournament, a horse-pull competition, bingo, and many children’s activities, including an SPCA animal day, a penny circus, and a family day.
There are specific activities of interest to the seniors of the community too. We host a variety show, a card party and scrabble, a bowling tournament, a ring toss and horseshoe tournament, and a social evening that always draws a good crowd.
The Hospitality Days come to a close on Sunday with a parade featuring local businesses, groups and talent, along with a fireworks display over the bay. Face painting, balloons and other activities will be set-up that evening to entertain and amuse.
