Bonar Law Common Farmersgolf

Are you looking for a new experience that offers inexpensive fun with physical activity for all ages? A light-hearted, spirited game where experience is not necessary? Well, here it is! Farmersgolf... you just gotta try it! It’s a blast and fun for the whole family! Farmersgolf is new to North America, but you can find a game at the 143rd Bonar Law course – the first in New Brunswick. Our course is approximately 1.5 km (1 mi.) in length, if you stay on course. The game will take approximately 2 hours, depending on the number of players.

There are 10 holes and they are 25 cm (10 in.) in diameter. The course will take you through the old pasture and along the beautiful Richibucto River. The most difficult holes will take you across the gully, and watch out for the water on number 7!

The game originated in Holland, the clubs are made of wood and are in the shape of a traditional Dutch wooden shoe. The game is best played in teams with 1 to 3 players in each group, but the game can also be played with 2 players. Members of each team take turns hitting the ball. The group with the fewest strokes is the winner! The rules are limited, with fun being the main objective!

Group rates available.
