Potato Printmaking Workshop
Nestled on the picturesque banks of the Saint John River, this unique gallery is host to a variety of works ranging from classic to contemporary. Budding artists – both young and old – will spend an afternoon of enlightenment touring the gallery and then sitting down to create a work of art using the region’s world-famous potatoes as your medium. Your creative journey begins with a greeting by your workshop instructor and a special look at the gallery’s exhibits. With inspiration in mind, you gather for art instruction and a one-of-a-kind potato-printing workshop. While you create, your instructor regales you with tales of this New Brunswick potato belt, also known as the French Fry Capital of the World. Admire your creation over coffee and receive a souvenir certificate upon departure.
