Joie-de-vivre is at the heart of Acadian culture, and what better way to spend a family vacation than by joining the party! Craft your own costume and make some noise during the music and merriment of the Tintamarre. Tintamarre is translated as ‘clangour’ or ‘din,’ and the Festival Acadien finds people of all ages out on the streets making as much noise as they can to celebrate National Acadian Day. Local artists conduct small-group workshops to help revellers craft costumes, masks and noise-makers to take with them to the festivities. Join in to create your own special token of celebration. Then the music and merriment begins!
