Town of Bouctouche

The town of Bouctouche is an enticing combination of scenery and sea, situated on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the magnificent Bouctouche River. The region’s endless bodies of water and wide-open spaces beckon to be discovered and explored.

Be sure to stop by the Visitor Information Centre to get information on local events, attractions and festivals. Browse handmade goods at the Bouctouche Farmers’ Market, play a round of golf at Golf Bouctouche or visit the sandy beaches and charming lighthouses.

Irving Eco-Centre, La dune de Bouctouche, one of the few remaining great sand dunes on the northeastern coastline of North America, will have you exploring the rich variety of plants and animals that make the dune their habitat.

Feel like kicking up your heals with a little Acadian fun? The fun and games at Le Pays de la Sagouine, created from the imagination of internationally renowned Acadian novelist Antonine Maillet, will keep your toes tapping and your fingers snapping!

Bouctouche offers much to see and do (and taste!), from magnificent eco-treasures to succulent lobster dinners. Whether you come for a night or a week, we think you’ll find that our Acadian Joie de vivre is infectious!
