"Best of River Valley" Attraction signs guarantee you're in for a good time. Family faves include: Mactaquac Provincial Park and de la République Provincial Park, Kings Landing Historical Settlement, Grand Falls Gorge, Kingswood Park and Hartt Island R.V. Resort's activity park.
Mix kids, sand and water and you've got a day of splashing, squealing and fun. We have 13 beaches in rivers and freshwater lakes along the drive so when the kids get restless, pile out and let them get refreshed in our waters.
Wee bit of Scot in your family tree? Head for the New Brunswick Highland Games and Scottish Festival. La Foire Brayonne celebrates francophone culture with plenty of activities for the kids. And the largest agricultural exhibition, The Frex, is a kid magnet.
Grand Falls Gorge is just one municipal park that ROCKS but we have a many more municipal parks that do their cities proud. Of course, our two provincial parks with campgrounds and complete facilities can keep kids happy for ages.
You're driving along... and all of a sudden you see something that makes you want to put on the brakes, get a photo and find out more! Here's a heads-up. Visit the World's Largest Axe in Nackawic, the World's Longest Covered Bridge in Hartland and a 13-ft fiddle in honour of lengendary musician Don Messer in Harvey.
