The Sand Castle Festival (Festival des châteaux de sable) is a yearly event held in the small community of Le Goulet in the Acadian Peninsula. The festival is held during New Brunswick Day weekend from Thursday to Sunday. Stroll the boardwalks all the way to the beautiful sandy beach, where most of the activities are taking place during this fun-filled weekend.
Take part in the sand sculpture contest, which features musical entertainment by a singer on the beach. Don’t miss the blessing of the fleet, the kid's day at the municipal park, the fireworks, corn boil and the dance night with local artists. A festival mass and a brunch mark the last hours of the festival.
Come one, come all!
