Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival

The third weekend of August we invite you to join us for the 7th Granite Town Wild Blueberry Festival. This wildly exciting festival celebrates St. George – The Granite Town as the “Home of the Big Blueberry.”

The beautiful town of St. George is the place where the Magaguadavic River meets the Bay of Fundy. Over the years, where the old meets the new, our culture and livelihood has evolved from granite, to shipbuilding, to lumbering, and now to where it is the heart of delicious wild blueberries, Atlantic salmon and many wonderful varieties of seafood.

This weekend festival highlights all things local, including wild blueberries, innovative culinary tasting and foodie activities, music, art, antique car show, various fund raising events, customer appreciation events, and to close the festival, a first responders appreciation event - a 5 K light up the night run and a floating lantern memorial ceremony. There is something for everyone and every age and each year offers something new!
