Tobique (Neqotkuk) First Nation Powwow

The Neqotkuk First Nation is an Aboriginal community on the north shore of the Tobique River, between the villages of Aroostook and Perth-Andover.

The Wolastokiwik Neqotkuk annual gathering and powwow provide an opportunity to discover the rich culture of the Maliseets of Neqotkuk through ceremony, dance and drumming.

The Labour Day festivities, known as ‘Indian Days,’ take place during the following week and offer a variety of cultural and sporting events.

Come and move to the rhythm of the drums and get to know Aboriginal culture by taking part in this great gathering!
