With a focus on Maritime hospitality and locally sourced ingredients, 11th mile has created a social dining experience in the heart of downtown Fredericton.
The restaurant is the brainchild of the husband and wife team of Chef Peter Tompkins and Jennie Wilson, who returned to their home province of New Brunswick in 2017.
Before returning home, Peter spent 10 years as Head Chef in midtown Toronto’s Quince Bistro and Noorden Food Bar, which earned accolades as some of Canada’s top restaurants.
Upon their return, Chef Peter crafted a menu for 11th mile with a focus on small, shareable plates to encourage friends to come together and stay a while. Chef Peter’s delicious dishes found their perfect complement in Jennie’s craft cocktail menu, which features a stellar line-up of unique and creative drinks that use juices and syrups made in house.
Together, they have created a restaurant that’s not just about the food and drink – it’s about getting together to share and connect over a meal and cocktails.
